Before writing a single piece of marketing copy, I had to understand what actually drives platform choice. Because 'easy-to-use interface' wasn't going to cut it.

Competitive research & Positioning

  • Analyzed 15+ social investing and trading platforms (Robinhood, eToro, Trade Republic, Public, Webull, etc.)

  • Mapped competitor positioning, feature sets, messaging strategies, and target audiences

  • Identified gaps in the market where yeekatee could own a unique positioning

  • Developed a differentiation framework that informed all marketing and product decisions

    That helped to get closer to our positioning angle.

Deep-dive user interviews

  • Conducted interviews with Swiss retail investors across different experience levels (complete beginners to active traders)

  • Uncovered pain points, motivations, and decision-making factors for choosing investment platforms

  • Identified which features actually mattered vs. which ones were just 'nice to have'

Stock Market Game
